Dive ‘N Surf/Body Glove Mark Foo 1987 8’4 Bonzer bottom/Boomerang Fin tri

I just recently visited the newly remodeled Dive’N Surf store in Torrance and shot this picture of a 1887 8’4 Bonzer bottom, Boomerang center fin/ Tri fin Sunset board I had made for 6-22BobbyOwens and Boomerang finMark Foo. Seeing it again, brought back many memories!                                          In 1985, Bobby Owens and I had collaborated heavily with his Boomerang fin design that he and Harold Ige had been working on for a few years. Starting first with Bobby’s boards, I then experimented that same Bonzer bottom design using the above Boomerang fin ideas with Mark Foo, Darrick Doerner, Richard Schmidt and many others for large wave guns that ended up surfing well from rail to rail, and still punched nicely out of the pit. Seeing that Mark Foo 8’4 last week, brought it all back to me!
