This thruster swallowtail tow board design has been well tested in waves up to 15~20’ at places like smaller “Jaws” on Maui and North Shore cloud break surf spots.
The Tow Skate is featured with a fuller rail designed for enhanced control at high speeds, along with a bottom rocker and contour that enables momentum, with the projection needed to tow larger wave conditions. We build this model to have a standard finished weight of 15 lbs, which can be increased on a custom basis by adding lead weight glassed into the board up to 20 lbs.
